Hello, students and parents!
I am pumped to be part of the Creekside Park team, but more importantly, I am THRILLED to be your teacher! It’s going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us. I want to know ALL about you, but first I’m going to tell you a few things about me.
I was born in Houston,TX but my family moved to Tomball when I was in second grade, where my brother, Casey and I attended school and are both proud cougar alumnus of Tomball High School! After graduation I attended Sam Houston State University where I majored in Academic Studies with a Minor in Elementary Science 4-8. I also obtained my masters in Curriculum and Instruction from Sam Houston State University in May 2015.
While attending college, I substituted here in TISD as well as completed my student teaching at Beckendorf Intermediate and Tomball Jr. High. I accepted my first teaching job in Cypress Fairbanks ISD, where I taught 8th grade science for two years, and three years in 6th grade science. I came to Tomball ISD in 2012, and I’m VERY excited to finally “be home” and teaching back where my roots are, with many of my former teachers. I know where you’re coming from and exactly where you need to go!! I have collected my teaching experiences in various classroom settings such as; departmentalized, co-teach, GT, and ESL.
I live in Tomball,TX with my two Dachshunds, both girls, Bailey, my sweet and loving baby, and my crazy, hyper, momma’s girl Briley. They are my fur babies who keep me on my toes and I adore! In May I welcomed my first child, a daughter, Kinsley, who is my mini! My favorite times are those spent with my family and friends, especially my 10 year old nephew, Steven….who is the love of my life (LOVE to talk about him!) I love to travel (tropical!), read books (young adult literature!), watch my favorite team Dallas Cowboys, and eat out instead of cook (Mexican or Italian!)
