My name is Janet Newberry. This is my 35th year in education and my first year in Tomball ISD. I'm honored to be part of a great team at CPJH.
It is a privilege to give your child a glimpse into the exciting world of U.S. History as we navigate through centuries of exploration, colonization and the ultimate development of this great country.
I'm excited about this school year and eager to get to know my students and their parents. Together, there is great hope.

1 day late = 10 points off2 days late = 20 points off3 days late = 30 points off4+ days late = max grade of 50
Retakes for major grades may be given within one week at student’s request.
Students may only retake one major grade per report card period.
Adjusted grade can not exceed a 70%.
Retakes do not apply to projects.

I make myself available for tutoring on the afternoon and the morning before a test and upon request.
Students need to get a pass from me or email me before scheduled tutoring as sometimes I will have meetings scheduled at the same time.
Students can sign up for the late bus during their lunch period.
