The following documentation is required and must be uploaded as a part of your online registration process. Failure to upload all of the required documents will result in your child not being registered.
Proof of Residence
Current Residents (Must be in the name of the person with legal responsibility for the child)
Current utility bill (light, gas or water)
Lease Agreement (no handwritten agreements will be accepted)
Student(s) must be listed as an occupant on an apartment lease
An agreement between individuals requires both notarized signatures
Closing documents on new home
Affidavit of Residence (more information below)
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: If you are new to TISD and are residing with family or friends, you MUST obtain an Affidavit of Residence. This is a separate process from registering the student, however, it is completed in the same website (Tomball ISD Link, see above). We will not be able to register your child until you are given an Affidavit of Residence.

* Move-in date must occur within 6 weeks of the student starting school. Move-ins occurring beyond 6-weeks after the student starts school must be approved by Administrative Services in the Central Administration Office.

Report Card from previous school
Guardian Photo ID/Driver's License/Passport
Other school records that are helpful, but not required, include: test scores, Special Ed records, 504 records, or GT documentation.
Not a resident?
You will need to apply for an Affidavit of Residence:
Fill out the online "Affidavit and Transfer" application found on Tomball ISD Link (see above). Use the same username and password as you used for the online enrollment.
Required documents to be uploaded:
Student’s Original Birth Certificate. Copies will not be accepted.
Resident and non-resident must both provide an acceptable picture ID.
Resident must provide current utility bill for the shared residence.
Resident must sign legal document stating that non-resident is living with them. Falsifying this document is punishable by law.

How long does the registration process take?
It depends on time of year and if all documentation has been uploaded. Generally, estimate that it will take 3 days, but it can take longer at the beginning of the school year when many students are being enrolled and if the required documents have not been provided in the online registration process.
How will I know if my student is registered?
If a student is registered, a confirmation email will be sent to the person who completed the online enrollment for the student.
How will I know if my student is enrolled?
If a student is enrolled, an email from the campus Registrar will be sent to the person who completed the online enrollment for the student.
What do I do if I have not heard anything about my student's registration?
If you have not heard anything about a student's registration, please email the campus Registrar at selenajimenez@tomballisd.net to receive a status update.
Can CPJH request the required report card from the student's previous school for registration?
School records, including report cards, can not be requested from a student's previous school until the registration process is complete and the student is officially enrolled.
