Important considerations when using any generative artificial intelligence

• Student use of generative AI is currently prohibited by TISD at all levels. (View the AUP to see the most current policy)

• Never share Personally Identifiable Information with an AI. 

• View all ChatBot responses critically. The AI may have access to unimaginable resources, but it doesn't always provide correct or appropriate information. AI may also produce biased responses or build on a biased prompt.

• Model the use of AI by using it ethically, responsibly, and by attributing it or citing it as a source; just as you would any published media.

• Ultimately, you are responsible for all materials shared with students.
