Girls Tennis Recap

5/6/22

The Tolland girls tennis team defeated Wethersfield on Friday with a final score of 5-2. Seniors Madison Kolb and Sophia Rotondaro picked up the win at 3 doubles, while Abbey Greene and Mia Bos cemented the victory with a win at 1st doubles. The girls next play Simsbury at home on Monday.

The Tolland girls tennis team lost an incredibly well fought match to Hall on Thursday with a final score of 3 to 4. 2nd singles, 1st doubles, and 2nd doubles all went to third set tie-breakers where Tolland won 2 out of three of the matches. Senior Elizabeth Ly earned Tolland’s third win at first singles.

The girls tennis team defeated South Windsor yesterday afternoon with a 6-1 win. Captain Elisabeth Ly secured a win at one singles after winning a tie-break 10-5.
