Congratulations to Johnathan Adadjo, Keith Carleton, Chris Adadjo and Dillon Stoeffler for representing Tolland Indoor T&F at New Balance Nationals Indoor this weekend in the boys SMR and 800m events. Excellent job on finishing up a great season, and to Dillon for setting a new school record in the boys 800m indoor!

Congratulations to Dillon Stoeffler who competed at the New England Championship Meet @ the Reggie Lewis Center in Boston Saturday evening in the 1000m race. Dillon earned All-New England recognition placing top 6 in New England in the event! A group of Tolland athletes have one final meet coming up in a few weeks at New Balance Nationals Indoor where Dillon will be running the 800 as well as Jonathan Adadjo, Keith Carleton, Chris Adadjo and Dillon Stoeffler competing in the Boys SMR event.

A group of 5 Tolland Indoor Track & Field athletes competed at the State Open Championship meet Saturday afternoon and represented Tolland Indoor Track and Field very well at the meet. Tolland was represented in the 1000 and SMR events with athletes competing among the top relays and athletes from across the state. Congratulations to Becca Langlais for running a PR in the 1000 and finishing in the top 10 in the event, Dillon Stoeffler for placing 4th in the 1000 and qualifying for the New England Championship as well as setting a new school record in the event! The boys SMR relay team of Keith Carleton, Jonathan Adadjo, Christopher Adadjo and Dillon Stoeffler also ran well placing 4th in the state in their event.

The boys and girls Indoor T&F teams both competed at the Class-M State Championship Meet last night and came away with many impressive performances. All of our athletes were excellent competitors and put some of their best performances out on the track and in the field to finish up on an outstanding season for many of our athletes. Several of our athletes and relays scored & medaled including Dillon Stoeffler in the 1000 with a 1st place finish, Becca Langlais in the 1000 with a 4th place finish, the boys SMR team of Jonathan Adadjo, Keith Carleton, Chris Adadjo and Dillon Stoeffler with a 3rd place finish and an Indoor Nationals qualifying time and Becca Langlains in the 3200 with a 5th place finish. Dillon has automatically qualified for the State Open Championship next Saturday with his 1st place finish and the qualification status of additional Tolland athletes and relays will be determined pending the results from the remaining State Championship Meets over the coming days.

On Saturday afternoon a group of Tolland Indoor T&F athletes were able to compete in the Last Chance Qualifier meet at HPHS where Tolland came away with several new and improved state qualifying performances on the day. These performances included newly added qualifying times in the 55m dash by Nysaiha Eaton and the girls 4x400 relay team of Ella Gaskel, Rebecca Langlais, Cailin McCann and Lilly Brody along with matching or improved state qualifying performances by the boys 4x200 relay team of Nysaiha Eaton, Konnor Daun, JC Gonzalez and Jake Vegiard, Penelope Harrold in the 55m Hurdles and Pole Vault, David Buey in Pole Vault, Jake Vegiard in the 1000, Rebecca Langlais in the 3200 and Michaela Borlas and Cailin McCann in the High Jump. These final updates help to put our teams into the strongest position possible heading into our Class-M State Championship this coming week.

The Boys and Girls Indoor T&F teams both competed at the CCC Championship Meet and came away with many impressive performances on the day. In a meet consisting of all 30 CCC teams, the level of competition was the highest it has been for our athletes throughout the indoor track and field season. Our athletes were put to the test and were able to rise to the challenge. There were many impressive performances on the track and in the field. There were several athletes and relays who medaled at the meet including the Boys 4x800 relay team of Devon Bryden, Patrick Green, Andrew Lamp and Jake Vegiard, Dillon Stoeffler and Rebecca Langlais in the 1000, David Buey and Penelope Harrold in Pole Vault, Rebecca Langlais in the 1600 and the SMR relay team of Nysaiha Eaton, Jonathan Adadjo, Chris Adadjo and Dillon Stoeffler.
The girls team came away with a 12th place finish overall and placed 7th in the CCC-North division.
The boys team took 8th place in the overall and placed 4th in the CCC-North division.
Tolland will now prepare for the Class-M State Championship on Thursday February 13th.

The Boys & Girls Indoor T&F team competed in their final regular season meet of the season at the UConn Fieldhouse on Friday evening and once again our athletes had many impressive performances on the track and in the field. The boys and girls teams added additional conference and state qualifiers among numerous personal best performances. Highlights include performances by Jonathan Adadjo in the 55 dash, Ella Gaskell, Chris Adadjo and Keith Carleton in the 300, Rebecca Langlais, Cailin McCann, Dillon Stoeffler, Andrew Lamp and Patrick Green in the 600, Devon Bryden in the 1000, the 4x400 relay team of Jonathan Adadjo, Chris Adadjo, Andrew Lamp and Dillon Stoeffler and Cailin McCann, Michalea Bollas and Andrew Lamp in the High Jump. Tolland athletes now prepare for the CCC-Championship meet next Saturday.

The Boys and Girls Indoor T&F team competed in their 5th meet of the season on Saturday afternoon at HPHS and had another productive day on the track and in the field. Our boys and girls teams both had several state and conference qualifying performances as well as numerous personal best performances at the meet in a range of different events contested at the meet including the David Buey, Nysaiha Eaton, Konnor Daun, and Mario Ellis in the 4x200, Lilly Brody, Meghan Cardin, Cailin McCann and Becca Langlais in the 4x800, Devon Bryden, Patrick Green, Jake Vegiard and Andrew Lamp in the 4x800, Janathan Adadjo, Keith Carleton, Andrew Lamp and Dillon Stoeffler in the 4x400, Penelope Harrold and Keith Carleton in the 55 Hurdles, Jonathan Adadjo in the 55 Dash, Ella Gaskel in the 300, Patrick Green and Dillon Stoeffler in the 600, Lilly Brody in the 1000, Rebecca Langlais in the 3200, Cailin McCann in the High Jump and Penelope Harrold in the Pole Vault.

Tolland Boys and Girls Indoor T&F competed in their 4th meet of the season this past Friday evening at UCONN and had another productive evening on the track and in the field. The boys and girls teams both had several state and conference qualifying performances at the meet in a range of different events contested at the meet including Penny Harrold in the 55 hurdles, Jonathan Adadjo in the 55 dash, Jonathan Adadjo, David Buey, Konnor Daun, and Mario Ellis in the 4x200, Andrew Lamp and Jonathan Adadjo in the 300, Andrew Lamp in the 600, Rebecca Langlais and Jake Vegiard in the 1000, Rebecca Langlais and Devon Bryden in the 1600 & and Penelope Harrold in Pole Vault.

The Boys and Girls Indoor Track and Field Teams competed in their third meet of the season on Friday evening at the Rust Buster Relays at SCSU and had a very productive evening on the track and in the field. Our boys and girls teams both had several state and conference qualifying relay and field event performances at the meet in addition to helping many of our athletes gain important relay experience. There were also several notable team members who stepped up to fill in as alternates in a number of relay events at the meet and did an excellent job contributing to their teams success. Qualifying performances included the boys 4x200 relay team of Jonathan Adadjo, David Buey, Konnor Daun and Mario Ellis, the boys 4x800 relay team of Dillon Stoeffler, Nate Glidden, Jake Vegiard and Devon Bryden, the girls SMR team of Ella Gaskell, Meghan Cardin, Lilly Brody and Rebecca Langlais, the boys SMR team of Jonathan Adadjo, David Buey, Andrew Lamp and Dillon Stoeffler, the boys 4x400 relay team of Andrew Lamp, Patrick Green, Jonathan Adadjo and Dillon Stoeffler and Penelope Harrold in the Pole Vault.

The boys and girls Indoor Track & Field teams competed in their second developmental meet of the season over the Winter break and turned in several strong performances on the track and in the field including a number of new and/or improved state and conference qualifying performances for both the boys and girls teams. Highlights include state qualifying performances by Dillon Stoeffler and Rebecca Langlais in the 1000, Dillon Stoeffler and Jonathan Adadjo in the 300, Penny Harrold in the Pole Vault and Michaela Bollas in the High Jump.

The Boys & Girls Indoor Track and Field teams competed in their first developmental meet of the season at the US Coast Guard Academy and turned in many impressive performances on the track and in the field. There were a number of athletes who earned conference and state qualifying performances including Chris Adadjo and Jonathan Adadjo in the 55 dash, Jonathan Adadjo in the 300, Rebecca Langlais in the 1600, Dillon Stoeffler in the 1600, Andrew Lamp in the High Jump and Penny Harrold in the Pole Vault. We have had a solid start to our season and are looking forward to many more positive things to come moving forward.
