About us

Urban Design Laboratory was established in April of 2023. We conduct research on urban design and territorial design.

The concept of the Territorial Design is to unite the multiple scales from the neighborhood to the region, to actualize the intrinsic characteristics through the comprehensive system, and to integrate the common and the social things.

The mission of our laboratory is to realize a good territory by utilizing the resources and providing against risks. That is the reason why we emphasize the critical importance of combining theory with practice.

As the number of the laboratory members are limited, we are expected to be independent and collaborative.
