We stand at the dawn of a new scientific era, sparked by the brilliant new 3GeV synchrotron radiation facility, NanoTerasu. This light is already illuminating paths to cutting-edge science and innovation.
To harness this potential, Japan's leading universities and research institutions have united to form the "Executive Committee for Coalition Strategy of NanoTerasu (ECCS)". This inaugural symposium is our global debut—a showcase presenting the excellence of Japan's leading and emerging 'ace' researchers and the very first insights emerging from this new light.
Our theme, "Light Opening the Frontiers of Science," looks beyond what has already been achieved. This symposium is a forum for potential. You will hear from top-tier researchers across wildly diverse fields—from magnetism and catalysis to cellular functions and agricultural science —as they reveal how they intend to pioneer their next frontier using this transformative light.
This event is intentionally inclusive. It is designed as a launchpad for all researchers, industry partners, and innovators, regardless of prior experience with synchrotron science. Discover how this new light can amplify your own research.
Held in synergy with the prestigious AOBA SUMMIT , this symposium creates a deliberately designed nexus. It is a unique opportunity where Japan's top-tier research minds will converge with the world's foremost scientific experts. We aim to be the hub where discussions ignite new ideas, forge international collaborations, and shape the future of science.
Join us for this landmark event. Be part of the co-creation.
