🎙️ Weekly Podcast Steps
1. Plan your episode
Think about your topic assigned for the week. Decide what you’re going to say and the mood you want (serious, funny, chill, etc.).
2. Record your audio/video
Record yourself talking about your topic. Aim for more than 45 seconds so you don’t end up too short after editing. Use Audio Recorder.
3. Start a landscape video in Canva
Open Canva and create a video in landscape (sideways) mode.
This makes it fit our class screens and look professional.
4. Build your podcast in Canva
Add your recording into the landscape video
Trim out long pauses or mistakes
Make sure your voice is clear
5. Add intro and outro music
Put music at the beginning (intro)
Put music at the end (outro)
Turn the music volume down to a 30% level so it doesn’t cover your voice
6. Add your podcast cover
Create a podcast cover that matches your topic and add it to your video as the background. It should be neat, readable, and school‑appropriate.
7. Check the time
Play your whole podcast from start to finish in Canva and make sure it’s at least 45 seconds long.
8. Share your Canva link
Click Share → Anyone with the link can view, then turn in that link exactly where your teacher tells you.
Same routine every week:
plan → record → landscape Canva video → edit → music → cover → time check → share link.
