craters of the moon is a fun geothremical place to go for a walk with friends and family it has lots of hot mud that steams so its look very nice . it would appeal to tourist because its a good place to go to discover taupo
i would rate it a 7.5/10 because it isnt the funnest thing to do but its still a very nice place to go i would reccomend it for sure
