What did it involve?
The Chris Jolly boat is a tourist attraction that takes you along Lake Taupo to go and see some more features on the lake.
Where did it go, what did we see?
Chris Jolly has some small activities included during the ride. The first stop they made was at the Maori Rock Carvings but on our way there the captain will speak through the speakers and tell you what's around us as we go. Then you get the opportunity to have a fish for some trout which is something fun to get you up on your feet.Â
Who would it appeal to? Why?
Tourist who enjoy water, a simple boat trip or just or get outside would enjoy this boat trip as it takes you along Lake Taupo and gives you so much information.
How would you rate it?
I would rate it an 8 out of 10 as I did get a bit sick because the lake was a bit rough but once I got outside and got fresh air I felt better. I did also like how it has two story's so you can choose where ever your more comfortable to sit.
What are the good things, what are the things that could be improved?
They have a small bar down the bottom that serve you coffees, drinks, blueberry muffins, smoked salmon on a cracker and more. The seats downstairs were slowing falling off and the chairs upstairs aren't the most comfortable but everything was just fine.
