I, Dr. Gopal Kumar Gupta, did my Master’s in Mathematics from the Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India, in the year 2011. I have completed my Ph.D. degree in the year 2019 from the Department of Mathematical Sciences, Indian Institute of Technology, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, India. I have worked as Guest faculty in the Department of Mathematics, Mahatma Gandhi Central University Motihari, Bihar, India.
Research Area: Stochastic Modelling, Queueing Theory. I have been started my research carrier from IIT BHU Varanasi. Since then, I have been working in the area of "Stochastic modelling and analysis of continuous time queueing systems". My main research interests include performance analysis of finite or infinite buffer vacation queuing models with bulk service. I have published research papers in various journals such as the Quality Technology & Quantitative Management, International Journal of Operational Research, International Journal of Applied and Computational Mathematics and International Journal of Mathematics in Operational Research etc. I have worked on queues with bulk and non-bulk arrival/service, queueing systems with vacations, queuing models with correlated arrivals MAP/BMAP etc. Currently, I am working in the areas of fuzzy queueing theory and optimization problems. I am looking forward to collaborate with active researchers to explore some new thrust areas in Interdisciplinary research.
