TMJC Guitar Ensemble
In Guitar Ensemble, we believe that each member is as precious and unique as a gemstone. The Ensemble provides a relaxed environment for all students with a love for music and guitar to learn and play together, with every member having a unique and important role to play. Students of any skill level are encouraged to come and join us. Beginning with a bridging workshop for newcomers, each member’s journey promises ample opportunities to perform, learn and grow.
In Open House 2020, we presented two light-hearted melodies, ‘Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea’ from the Japanese animation film ‘Ponyo’, and the popular Korean pop song ‘Travel’, which enthralled the audience. As many of our members started off as beginners in playing the guitar, this performance was a true testament of our members' passion and resilience, while displaying our motto “One Ensemble, One Sound”. As we strive to achieve greater heights as musicians, the Guitar Ensemble looks forward to our participation in the Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation 2021.
