Every person can make magic on stage - we believe there is a budding actor or actress in every person. 2020 has been a special year, because for the first time in very a long time, the show did not go on. Nevertheless, our English Drama students went on doing what can be done. Pick-A-Hero, a short skit drawing attention to the issue of Cyberbullying, was staged during our Open House in January.
We were in the midst of rehearsing for Something True, an adaptation of Michelle Tan’s I Am Trying To Say Something True and our 2020 Singapore Youth Festival Arts Presentation entry as well as our public production piece, before COVID-19 hit the nation and co-curricular activities were called off. In spite of all that 2020 was, we look forward to entertaining friends and families in 2021 as we continue to explore performing opportunities, including staging an in-house production on college premises at our Performance Lab.
Wherever our stage ends up being, whoever our audience may be...there you will find us making magic!
