Audio books help us read! Here is a way to access audio books for free! This is a great way to help your child strengthen vocabulary and comprehension. They will also find books they love, but struggle to read.

Go to TM Intermediate library website to access SORA:

https://soraapp.com/library/texasr2tx

We have a new eBook library, and her name is SORA! Come check out books from 8 different school districts and the Keach Family Library at the Fairgrounds for FREE!

Here's how:

  1. Download the free app for SORA

  2. Or go to SORA , click on Tuloso-Midway ISD, and log in with your Google Classroom credentials.

Do not forget to click on the lines in the upper right corner.

Click on "Add Library" and add the South Texas Library System for more books!

Also a Dyslexic font is available too. The Dyslexia is designed to make text easier to read for users with dyslexia. You can enable “dyslexic font” for the entire Sora app/website or in individual ebooks.

Note: The dyslexic font display option isn't available in all languages or for all ebooks.

Turning on dyslexic font for the Sora app/website

  1. Go to > General settings.

  2. Select the box next to Dyslexic font (under "Display").

If you have a Corpus Christi Public Library Card, add that library as well... with your card number and PIN, you can access their eBooks too!

It's as easy as that! :) This is something the district is paying for, so let's use it while we can!
