WINTER LEGO WORKSHOP SERIES

Session 1: Saturday, January 13th/ Amusement Theme Park
Session 2: Saturday, January 20th/ A Night at the Museum
Session 3: Saturday, January 27th/ A Trip To Mars
Time: 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Grades: 4th- 9th
Registration: $80 per workshop (Bundle register for all three sessions for $216)
These inaugural workshops will invite students to design and construct a Lego theme park ride, fostering a hands-on approach to learning core engineering concepts. The momentum will continue with subsequent sessions, which include "Thrills and Builds" "Night at The Museum," and “Martian Builders" each leveraging the versatile medium of Lego for educational exploration.
To ensure a high-quality learning environment with a focus on individual attention, the workshops will be limited to 12 students per class.
"Thrills & Builds: The LEGO Theme Park Adventure"

Join us for an exciting Saturday Lego Engineering Camp at the Walker Innovation Center, TMI, specially designed for kids! This two-hour camp, themed around a fun theme park, offers children the chance to pick from various free build ideas, encouraging creativity and engineering skills. Guided by an experienced instructor, each camper will create their own miniature theme park attractions using a wide range of Lego bricks. From designing Lego roller coasters to Ferris wheels, the session focuses on imagination, basic engineering principles, and the joy of building. "Night at the Museum: Engineering Marvels with LEGO"

Blast off into an interstellar adventure with the "A Trip to Mars" themed Saturday Lego Engineering Camp at the Walker Innovation Center, TMI. This two-hour session is a thrilling exploration into the mysteries of the Red Planet, where children can build Martian landscapes, futuristic Mars rovers, or space colonies using Legos. They'll learn about space travel and Martian exploration while applying principles of space engineering in their creations.
