Textbooks
The TMI Episcopal online bookstore will be available in July. Visit the TMI eCampus Virtual Bookstore at eCampus Virtual Bookstore. Links are also available on the TMI website under the Academics tab or in onCampus under Resources tab. Only courses that require the purchase of digital or print textbooks will appear in the bookstore. If a course is not listed, the teacher will provide any needed instructions or information to the student.
Follow the steps below to purchase textbooks:
Before ordering, obtain a copy of the student’s proposed schedule from onCampus in order to have a list of courses.
Log into the virtual bookstore using the student’s onCampus account credentials. Do not use a parent account. Families must place a separate order for each student in their household.
Choose the Shop Now button under Order Textbooks, and then choose 2023-2024 School Year.
Select the courses which the student is enrolled in and continue to follow the prompts through the purchase process.
Summer Reading books can be purchased through Amazon or other book retailers. (hardback or paperback is acceptable)
All textbooks through eTECHcampus will be available in July.
Summer Reading
The middle school English teachers encourage our students to read for fun over the summer. We hope
students will read whatever interests them most. From graphic novels to nonfiction pieces, we would like
students to read two choice books over the summer.
In addition, students are required to read See you in the Cosmos by Jack Cheng (ISBN 978-0399186387)
Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) Program
All students in grades 6-12 are required to bring a laptop computer to school each day. Laptops have far more access compared to mobile devices and will expose students to integrated digital tools that will prepare them for future success. This model will allow students and teachers to consistently use technology as a tool for learning, exploration, and organization. More details about the BYOD program:

Dear Students,
On behalf of the TMI Episcopal School Band Program, I would like to welcome you to TMI Episcopal. TMI is full of new opportunities, exciting challenges, and a dedicated staff. One of these new opportunities for your child is participation in the 6th grade Beginner Band. This is a beginning level class – you do not need to have prior music instruction. Participation in band is a great way young people to meet new friends, expand and enhance creativity, self-esteem, self-discipline, critical thinking skills and also works a portion of the brain not normally exercised.
Band is an opportunity open to all students. If students are involved in sports, cheer, dance, or other after school activities they can still participate in band. The big question is how do I choose an instrument. Each student has the opportunity to schedule a Band Instrument Tryout. This is what I call “Petting The Instrument”. You can schedule an appointment by clicking here to look at and even play all of the band instrument and see if there is one you would like to play. Band instruments include Flute, Clarinet, Oboe, Saxophone, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, Tuba and Percussion. The fitting takes into consideration each student’s physical characteristics and coordination, specific skills, and also the student’s interest and preference to certain instruments. This will help to guide each student to the best instrument choice for them to succeed in band. I look forward to meeting your and helping you choose an instrument.
Sincerely,
Roderick Leonard
Director of Bands
