Students who will be entering the 7th and 8th grades during the 2025-2026 school year will have an opportunity to build upon their prior knowledge in both English and Mathematics in courses taught by TMI faculty. This course will prepare them for the next academic year and give them a stronger foundation from which to start the school year. Additionally, students will participate in team building activities to build community to establish a strong foundation for the new academic year. Lunch is included. This program is for TMI students only, including new TMI students who are enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year. Register here.

Students, you will have an opportunity to tour the campus, meet with faculty members from various programs, chat with student ambassadors, and walk your schedules.

8th graders will be going off campus to Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels, TX and participating in low and high ropes course activities. Lunch is provided at the facility. Students must arrive by 8:00 am and will be leaving promptly at 8:15 am to the facility in New Braunfels. Students must wear a TMI spirit shirt with athletic bottoms and closed-toed shoes. Students must bring sunglasses, a hat, water bottle, and sunscreen. Students will return back to campus by 4:00 p.m.
