TMES 2023 Global Scholars - Unit 5 - Community Action Project 

The following is a video created by our global scholars students. This video documents the process our students went through for their U5 project. The aim of their project was to promote awareness of water security issues in Taipei to the local government in order to enact change. For this project we utilized two different approaches; one approach was making an informational video, and another was creating eco-friendly products.

For this project we divided students into many different groups, some groups chose to make videos speaking to the government about key issues affecting Taipei's water system, and other groups created eco-friendly products to promote environmentally friendly solutions to water-related issues. We will promote this issue to our local government and have taken action in real life to help effect change via our promotional activities. We hope that these will have an impact in aiding the cause of creating a greener and more long-lasting solution to Taipei's water security issues.
