Our archaeology field school students conducted test excavations alongside recent grads from UC-Berkeley who were working for Pacific Legacy. At Stanford University alongside San Franscisquito Creek. 

Our archaeology field school student conducted field survey in partnership with NV BLM (Bureau of Land Management). Near Sparks, NV

Our archaeology field school students worked alongside Stanford volunteers to test excavate at Hopkins Marine Station. Near Monterrey Aquarium.  

TMCC Archaeology students worked on "Stanford Gym" dig. Gym was destroyed in the 1906 earthquake one day before it was scheduled to open. 

In 2009/10: Assessing Needs of TMCC Military/Vet Students 

TMCC Applied anthropology students researched the needs of Military and Veteran Students and their Families at TMCC. (link in report above) 

TMCC Archaeology students conducted lab work studying archaeobotanical plant specimens from a Stanford Campus Archaeology Site.

Archaeology lab students learned how to process, sort and identify archaeobotanical specimens recovered from Talepop, a Chumash village near Malibu, California.

TMCC Archaeology field school students learned field survey techniques in Lake Tahoe Basin during the 2022 and 2023 summers. Co-sponsored by Nevada Parks and Rec. Dept.
