Welcome

I am currently an English Instructor at TMCC. I received my PhD in English and Creative from the University of North Dakota and my MFA in Creative Writing, Fiction from the University of Pittsburgh. I have taught courses in creative writing, professional writing, world and American literature, and all levels of composition. I have also served as an editor for various literary journals, and I'm currently Associate Prose Editor for TMCC's The Meadow. As a writer, my fiction, poetry, and reviews have appeared in over twenty publications. Having played basketball at Vanderbilt University, I also co-host an NBA podcast by English professors, The Jabsteps, and always love to talk ball with interested students.
