It was very fun to see so many of you at our Open House event this week, thank you for taking the time to swing by our classroom and see all the hard work your children have been up to this year! I have sent home instructions for our Very Important Person project, VIP's need to be approved by next week. You also received a QR code for the TLCS online auction, details below for our Teacher Experience! Mark your calendars for our up-coming play: Vacation to Mars! Both second grade classes will be performing together on Friday, March 20th at 11:15 am. It's going to be out of this world, you will not want to miss it!!!

Character Trait Awards: Those receiving an award in March include: Koda, Issac, Christian, Chase and Aaliyah congratulations!! Sign-up for a date (using the link below) that works for you. There are multiple dates to choose from. I am looking forward to recognizing your child!   Character Traits 2026 

Monday, March 2: Spirit Day Cat in the Hat  Wear red and white stripes or anything De. Seuss related, so fun!!

Friday, March 20: Minimum Day  Students are dismissed at 12:00 pm, Crosswalk will be available until 6:00 pm.

Friday, March 20: Vacation to Mars Second Grade Performance Join us in the Main auditorium at 11:15 am for a play that will take you out of this world!! You don't want to miss it!

Monday, March 23: VIP (Very Important Person) Project DUE Instructions and rubric have been sent home for this at-home project! Please let me know if you have any questions regarding the project!

Friday, March 27: VIP Parent Viewing Students will be giving presentations about their VIP, come check out their hard work and effort. Viewing will be held in the Chapel Room (across from our classroom) from 8:30-9:00 am.

(UPCOMING) Friday, April 24th 5:00-6:30: Teacher Experience You can purchase an evening for your child to have dinner, dessert, and a treasure hunt/ escape room experience with ME!! There are enough slots for our entire class, you can purchase a teacher experience through our TLCS online auction. A QR code has been sent home in your child's Student Planner. Hope to see your child there!
