Welcome back and Happy New Year!! We are getting back into the swing of Second Grade, everyone applied for and received a job for Mitchellville, YAY!! Our first payday and rent day begin next week! Important Dates and Events:

Character Trait Awards: Sign-up for a date (using the link below) that works for you in the next month for your child to be recognized with a character trait award. There are multiple dates to choose from. I am looking forward to recognizing your child!   Character Traits 2026 

January 16: End of Second Quarter

January 16: Winter White Out Spirit Day  Do you have any white sweaters, sweats or sweatshirts, wear anything white for winter white-out!!

January 19: NO SCHOOL  In observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day there is no school, enjoy the long weekend!

January 29: 100th Day of School We'll be celebrating this milestone with lots of fun activities and even a 100 Day T-Shirt contest, more details to come!

January 30: FUN RUN Students are practicing at school running for this event. We would love to have parents help at the Fun Run to tally laps and cheer us on. More information to come!

January 30: Minimum Day Students will be dismissed at 12:00 pm. Crosswalk will be available until 6:00 p.m.
