Hello there!

Hello and welcome! My name is Caitlin Donovan and I could not be more thrilled for my second year teaching 5th grade at Twin Lakes this year. 

In May 2024, I graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a B.A in Cross Disciplinary Studies (Teacher Education) with an emphasis in Visual Art. By December of 2024, I completed my Multiple Subject Credential, as well as my Single Subject Art credential. In my humble opinion, teaching is the most important job in the world and I approach it with a level of care and responsibility reflective of that sentiment!

I love spending my time outdoors, with friends and family, reading a good book, eating good food, and most of all, running. This Summer, I spent practically every moment at Capitola beach teaching surf lessons! After just wrapping up my first year living in Santa Cruz, no one has made me feel more like I belong than all of the sweet Twin Lakes families. Whether it was saying hi to me during lessons or hollering at me when I'm spotted running, it all truly makes my heart so full. I am so excited to continue building community, investing in our kids,  and spending everyday doing what I love- teaching!
