Selver Softic

Team Leader

Selver Softic is professor, full time lecturer in business informatics degree program and expert for Open Educational Resources, Educational Datamining and EU project management and

international coordinator for the degree programs in information technologies & business informatics. Selver obtained his bachelor, master (Information & Computer Engineering) and PhD degree (Informatics) at Graz University of Technology.

He is bringing more than 12 years of experience in EU projects. Sever’s expertise focuses on Information technologies (collaboration tools and sharing platforms) for industry, data science and e-learning. Research focus is bound to design, evaluation, and implementation of smart data services, and he owns several methodological, pedagogical and didactic skills.

He is also author of more than 50 publications and worked as senior and key researcher in several Austrian research facilities (IT, automotive branches) for 12 years in European (FP5, FP6, FP7. H2020, Artemis) and national research projects, owns methodological, pedagogical, and didactic skills. Selver teaches informatics, cryptography, and data science courses.

Eva Schirgi

She finished her studies in Technical Mathematics with focus on Statistics and Optimization (Graz University of Technology), teacher training in German Philology and Mathematics (Karl-Franzens-University Graz), university course in German as a Foreign Language (Karl-Franzens-University Graz). Eva is currently working as full lecturer in business informatics degree program at CAMPUS 02 University of applied sciences.

She taught so far as full-time and part-time lecturer for mathematics, statistics and operations research in the tertiary sector (CAMPUS 02 Univeristy of Applied Sciences, Karl-Franzens-University Graz, Wiener Neustadt University of Applied Sciences, Joanneum University of Applies Sciences Graz, FOM Hochschule für Ökonomie & Management, FernFh), in youth and adult education (bfi, JAW-AZQH, IFS Dr. Rampitsch, ÖVI Immobilienakademie), as a statistician (AGES – Austrian Health Agency) and in social pedagogical support (atempo, JAW-

JASG, JAW-Quick). Her focus lies on statistics and data science (simulations and data mining). She is also author to several also highly cited publications.

Ioan Turcin

He is assistant in research and teaching, lecturer and coordinator for internationalization at the degree program in automation technology. He obtained his master in automation technologies at CAMPUS02 University od Applied Sciences. Since 2005 he is working first as an assistant within the range of computer based measurement techniques, afterwards as a project coordinator within the range of R&D project management and internationalization up to now. His teaching engagement includes organization and coordination of the course accompanying projects (project based learning) and labs in smart automation degree program.

As internationalization coordinator he Initiates and is responsible for cooperative projects; organization of mobility, promotion of student, teaching staff and staff training mobility in the frame of the European support programs ERASMUS+ and CEEPUS; initiation, selection, preparation and application for international R&D projects. Since 2007, Ioan is local coordinator in the following CEEPUS Networks: CIII-RO-0202, CIII-RS-0065 and CIII-RO-0058. Ioan is expert for internationalization activities, international project management, project based learning, rapid prototyping, owns methodological, pedagogical and didactic skills. Ioan is currently finishing his PhD in industrial engineering, and he is author of several publications.
