Why see the school counselor? 

I can help support you in your academics, career development, and social-emotional development in order to be a successful learner. The graphic below outlines more ways I can support you and help meet your needs in school. I meet with students individually, in small groups, and teach classroom lessons throughout the school year.

 Why small group counseling? 

Counseling groups address personal issues that can hinder academic performance. The American School Counselor Association (ASCA) focuses on academics, college and career as well as social-emotional development. During small groups, students gain skills to help navigate their different life events and connect with peers who may be experiencing a similar situation.

Life can be hard at times...
