History

Our school originated from " Yushan Junior High School," founded by Mr. Qi Baiting on August 4, 1962 (Year 51 of the Republic of China). Initially, the school faced challenges in acquiring land, including purchasing village-owned lands like Cailiao and Wanglaikeng from local figures Yan Zhongyong and Mu Yushan, and subsequently buying the school site from landlords who unconditionally provided it for Yushan Junior High School's use. However, due to numerous landowners at the time and some landlords whose whereabouts were unknown, the process was unsuccessful.

In July 1968 (Year 57 of the Republic of China), in accordance with the nine-year compulsory education policy, Zhuozhen Township needed to establish a national junior high school. After extensive coordination, the provincial government acquired Yushan Junior High School and reorganized it as "Tainan County Zhuozhen National Junior High School." In the year 2011 (Year 100 of the Republic of China), due to county-city consolidation, it was renamed "Tainan City Zhuozhen Junior High School."
