Buildings and Environment 

It is the largest heated swimming pool in a public elementary school in Taichung. There is safety and teaching equipment around the pool. The swimming coach will think about each student’s needs. All students have 13 weeks of supervised swimming starting from grade one. Toujia graduates can swim 50 meters Backstroke and 50 meters Breaststroke. Our swimming team is famous in Taichung. Our coaches teach many national swimming players. One of our graduates, Tsai Bing-rong, broke the national record for Breaststroke.

We have the largest collection of English books among all the libraries in Taichung city. Thanks to the assistance of library volunteers, we can borrow our favorite books smoothly during our free time. Through the efforts of everyone, Toujia Elementary School has been honored with the "Rock of Reading Award" from the Ministry of Education. We hope that everyone will love reading.

The central kitchen complies with the HACCP standard. Won the Environmental Sanitation Award for more than 10 consecutive years. A nutritionist provides us with a weekly menu. In addition to the manufacturer's test report, the lunch secretary and nutritionist will conduct food self-inspection on the ingredients every day.

We have 8 kitchen staff with Chinese cooking license C level. Every school day, our school has 50 lunch volunteers who clean, cut and organize food.

Everything we do is to let the students in the head home have a healthy and safe lunch.
