Complete the entire form:
Concussion education, Emergency contacts, weight room waiver, etc.
A separate VHSL Physical Exam Form must be completed and either mailed or handed directly to the TJ Athletic Trainer, Heather Murphy.
*Note: If your student participated in a TJ sport this year and you previously completed all steps above, you do not need to complete again. However, you should login to the Aribtier Sports site to confirm that the student is registered.
*Note: if your bank limits the daily amount that can be paid via Zelle, payment of the full amount via Zelle on two subsequent days is permissible. For example, if you owe $1,300, you could pay $1,000 on Monday and the remaining $300 on Tuesday.
Please send an email to treasurer@tjcrew.org if you are paying via Zelle on two subsequent days due to bank limits.

Guaranteed practice bus seats are newly available to returning rowers for the 2026 spring practice season at a cost of $800 for five days (M-F) of weekly transportation during the 10 weeks of regular season practice. It has long been TJ crew policy to require freshman and novices ride the practice bus, and this remains the policy. This year, because we have a limited number of student drivers, we are adding the option of riding the bus for upperclassmen as well. Our captains, with guidance from coaches, are also organizing limited carpools. The Boosters Board hopes the busing option provides convenience and peace of mind for students/parents working to ensure safe, consistent, on-time transportation to Sandy Run after school. Notes:
Expenses for the Qualifying Boats are not included in registration fees. Out of town trips will be detailed as plans are finalized.
SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS
Scholarship programs are available to assist families for whom payment of the full registration fee is a financial burden. Specifically, scholarships may be available for students who have been approved for Free and Reduced Meals for the current year.

ATTEND SWIM TEST
(NOT NECESSARY FOR WINTER CONDITIONING)

Only for NEW TJ Crew rowers only.
REQUIREMENTS: Athlete must be able to swim 100 yards, tread water for two (2) minutes and put on a flotation device while in the water.
The swim test occurs at the Audrey Moore Rec Center (8100 Braddock Rd, Annandale, VA 22003). Carpools are organized for the novices to get to the testing location on a Friday after practice, but transportation is not provided for the makeup date.
TURN IN VOLUNTEER CHECK PAYABLE TO TJ CREW BOOSTERS*
CHECK IS DUE BEFORE THE SEASON BEGINS. You can bring it to the Ergathon or first day of Spring Practice. It can be collected by the TJ Crew President or Treasurer.
The $500 Volunteer Donation Fee payable to the TJ Crew Boosters is explained in the TJ Crew Volunteer Policy. This check is NOT cashed. At the end of the season, it is only cashed if the required volunteer points are not met. This is a check that we do not want to cash. TJ Crew needs volunteers to help for it to be a successful season. Checks will be destroyed or returned to families at the end of the season.
