For six years, Quest 4 Earth has been working towards creating a more sustainable Evanston and empowering students to take charge of their environmental education. We want to call together the community once again to participate in our Community Healing Garden.
What is the Community Healing Garden?
The Community Healing Garden is a collaborative space for members of the Evanston community to share natural herbs, oils, flowers, and more with health benefits. Our goal is to heal our community by helping to heal each other. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, it is essential that we find ways to stay connected and grow together. In this space, you will find details on how to grow, nurture, and use natural herbs.
How can I participate in the Garden?
We have just begun to grow our garden and we need your help! We ask you to submit your home recipes, remedies and favorite herbs that you use to heal. You can submit your recipes in the Share Your Recipe and join our community healing chat page for tip and more!
About Quest 4 Earth
Quest 4 Earth is a Tiz Media Foundation environmental awareness initiative that uses MindRap methodology to teach environmental science and justice. With climate change responsible for many issues that will impact our future generations todays youth need to be scientifically rooted to meet the challenges. In Quest 4 Earth workshops they learn about environmental issues and how science can help them face those challenges. Using a STEAM platform youth transform what they learn into media that can help teach others. Funded by donations and grants Quest 4 Earth workshops are currently running in Evanston, Illinois.
We'd like to thank the following people for their involvement in making this possible.
