About Me

My name is Lindsay McCarter.  I am a proud mother of two daughters. Kayt is teaching 6th/7th grade math at Tishomingo Middle School.  After interning at our elementary school last year, Emily is currently managing the computer lab at Tishomingo Elementary while attending college as a full-time online Murray State College student.  I am a Computer Science teacher at Tishomingo High School. This is my nineteenth year to teach.  My first four years I taught at Lone Grove High School all others have been at Tishomingo High School.  I have several roles at our school.  I am also yearbook advisor for Tishomingo Public Schools as well as maintain our district website, contribute to social media, serve as senior sponsor as well as our E-Sports coach.  I graduated high school in Ardmore.  I earned my undergraduate degree at Murray State College and Southeastern Oklahoma State University.  I recently earned a graduate degree from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in May of 2023.  I am looking forward all the hopeful doors it opens as well as helping my daughters be the best educators they can be.
