We are pleased to maintain an open library for student use. Students are allowed to visit the library in limited numbers to check out books and resources. Specific library protocols are shared by the primary and secondary schools. As the library is a higher traffic area, all students and staff, including primary students, are required to wear a mask upon entry to the library at this time. We are excited to offer mobile library carts and outdoor library events, as well.

Library staff follows protocols for handling materials including, but not limited to:

• wearing a mask at all times when in the libraries and

• washing/sanitizing hands prior to handling library materials.

All materials returned to the library are quarantined for 48 hours before being checked in and available to be borrowed again.

Library materials checked out by students or given to students by members of staff for classroom use should not be shared with other students. Materials must be returned to the library to go through the proper quarantine procedures before they may be shared with others.
