AI can be a fantastic starting out search tool for making your starter lists. Here is a suggestion of how to get started:
Take some notes first on what you are looking for in the categories of fit especially Personal and Accademic fit catagories. (The Fiancial fit, although a criticaly important determining factor, is very complex and a hard one for AI to get right. Although for an initial search adding a statement like, " offers Schollarships for International students" or " offers merit based aid to international students" might be helpful information).
Start a conversation with your AI, putting in the descriptors that you are looking for. As an example: " I am looking for a Bachelors Degree in Europe including Belgium, Italy, Greece, Netherlands, Poland, and Germany that teach in English, have programs that focus on international relations and International law, especially as in relation to human rights and the UN global goals. "
You could continue to add on search terms but it may also be helpful to layer them in, like you might in a conversation. That would consist of follow up criteria like this:
" I would also like this program to be more of a hands on program with strong ties to the community in which it is located, and strong connections with the UN or other humanitarian agencies"
MOST IMPORTANTLY: This search is just a starting point, and please do not take this list as true or verified, it is just a starting list. From this list you will need to look at the website and verify everything. Just like any University website search I encourage you to grab questions off of the "Good Questions for Universities" list to use as a scavenger hunt on the website, and or link the questions to your search questions that you asked above. As always:
Take Notes on everything (Old school write it down is recommended)
If you like a program and want to keep looking add it to your Bridge U lists.
5. You can always at any time take what you have learned about what you really want in a school and start or add more questions to your AI search. In addition please remember the other search tools you have that are listed on the specific country pages on Where in the World.
The Definitive Guide ( published by Carnegie) : This is a guide writen for the University side of the market, but it gives interesting incites into how Universites are targeting their marketing, and therefor can assist with you getting better results, and in better understanging your results.
