My name is Coach LaFrance.  This is my first year at Brighton HS.  I grew up in a small town named Freedom, Pennsylvania.  After High School I joined the US Navy and served for 6 years.  Until 2020 I was a civilian Contractor for the Navy and in 2020, I received my bachelor's degree in psychology from Mississippi State University and decided to pursue my dream of coaching High School Football.

In 2021 I completed my master's degree in Secondary Education also from Mississippi State University and am currently working on my Post Graduate Certificate at Arkansas State University to become a principal.

I have coached football at all age levels (4-18) over 14 years.  I began coaching youth football in my hometown, continued in Texas and also while living in Mississippi.  Through this time, I have established 2 non-profit youth football, cheer, and basketball organizations from the ground up.

I have been a running backs coach since 2020 and last year I was the Head coach at MLK Prep in Memphis.  I was also the Head Track Coach at Southeast Lauderdale HS in 2020 and 2021 proudly coaching a boys' team that competed in the state meet in 2021 in Mississippi.
