** Students will learn how to draw a portrait and will then draw a portrait of a teacher of their choice. 

LESSON 4

** Students will create a piece of art that reflects Egypt and/or create a cereal box. 

LESSON 5

SYMMETRY

• Students will learn what symmetry and A-symmetrical are. 

• Students in grades Prek - K will work on the life cycle of the butterfly, migration of and will create two pieces of art in this lesson. 

  • One a caterpillar with unique designs and patterns. 

  • A balancing butterfly.......

• Students in grades 1-5 

  • Will learn about celebrations around the world and within different countries. 

  • Students will learn how to create a symmetry skull/sugar skull with unique designs and patterns. 

  • Students will use a light box to transfer images and then then they will outline with a sharpie, erase pencil lines and then color in. 

  • Students will attach their skull to another piece of paper for strength and then add a thin layer of liquid glue to the white parts (not colored) and then salt to give it texture. 

LESSON 6

3D Pens for grades 3-5

• Students will learn how to create with a 3D pen. 

• Students will learn about "tack" welding to put pieces together. 

• Students will learn about pen safety and usage. 

• Students will create a 3D image with their pen. 

Grade Pre K and K

• Students will create a 3D image with magic noodles. 

• Students will learn what the difference of 3D is verses other images. 

• Students will learn how to attach noodles with a damp paper towel. 

• Grades 1 -2 

• Students will be creating a summer scene/origami - pop lesson
