The Telos and Happiness
According to Aristotle, every action we take has an inherent telos(purpose or goal), and the ultimate telos of human life is to attain eudaimonia— a state of true happiness and fulfillment. This means that human beings should live in accordance with their rational nature and strive to develop virtues. Aristotle believes that happiness is not merely about pleasure but about engaging in meaningful and virtuous activities that contribute to personal and societal well-being.
