Season Pricing and Club Membership
The Committee sits at its regular meeting prior to a season being announced and decides Season Registration costs to members , on advice from the treasurer. These are determined by our costs primarily to the Association, court hire and coach remuneration .
To be able to play a player must be Registered for the season.
All Season Registrations must be made via the PlayHq portal , which is a Basketball Victoria financial platform. The Club does not receive the entirety of the amount of season registration but a reduced amount accounting for transactional fees levied by PlayHq. There are other fees levied by BV & BA which the Club does not receive or have any control over.
To be considered a Club member the individual must be financial I.E. Registered.
Membership is per season and must be renewed for each season.
Discounts to Membership apply from the 3rd Child + in a family.
Discounts are also offered to parent coaches for 1 child.
Payment Plans are offered to individuals who require support to meet their obligations and must be approved by an Executive Committee member.
Any monies owing from a prior season will mean that individual cannot register for a forthcoming season.
Refunds are only considered where the Club is unable to meet prior indicated ( at the time of registration ) team preferences; within the published normal registration period.
Performance Team trial results are not considered a team preference in this clause.
All refunds offered incur a $20 administrative charge deducted from the actual amount received by the club from PlayHq
Refunds for a 'change of mind' situation are only possible prior to the commencement of a season and will incur a fee of $100 from the amount of monies the club actually received from PlaHq.
The Club will look favourably on refunds for unavoidable circumstances , such as season ending injury in the first 5 rounds, relocation of residence and job relocation;
or for hardship whether financial or emotional. These can be applied pro rata at the discretion of the Executive.
Once refunded a mebership will be cancelled via PlayHq.
