BANNED BOOKS WEEK EXHIBIT: OCTOBER 8TH-10TH
The library hosted its first Banned Books Exhibit and welcomed 19 different classes down to the library to learn about Banned Books Week. Students were able to partake in 6 different stations and formulate their own thoughts about what they think about banning books in schools and libraries. Students asked great questions and were very engaged with each station!

Curriculum and Instruction, M.Ed
Educational Leadership, M.Ed
Mrs. Guanci is entering her 19th year in the Timberlane School District. She loves being involved with the TRHS community and is currently advising the Outdoor Adventure Club and TRHS Book Club. Outside of school, she coaches her son's soccer team as well.
Favorite Book Genres: Mystery, thriller, historical fiction, romance and memoirs are among her favorites.
Fur Child: The Guancis have one rescue dog, Indy, who is a Springer-Spaniel/hound mix. He was born in a fox den and this is where he was found before making his way up to NH.
Hiking: Outside of school, Mrs. Guanci enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with hiking. She recently started the 4,000 footer hiking challenge and looks forward to bagging more peaks this year!
Counseling, Education, and Criminal Justice, B.S.
Ms. Dillon is entering her 4th year in the Timberlane School District and her first year at Timberlane High School. She previously spent three years at Sandown North, where she loved working with younger students and staff. She is the mother of two Timberlane graduates and enjoys being part of the TRHS community. Outside of school, she thrives on all things outdoors. In her free time, she writes articles for two websites on topics ranging from fintech and global digital currencies to mythology, mysteries, and history.
Favorite Book Genres: Mythology, futuristic, and sci-fi are among her favorites.
Fur Children: One amazing rescue dog, Remi, and three cats—Zeus, Loki, and Freya—who live up to their mythological names.
Happy Place: Biking, hiking, and quiet rock pondering—she finds nature to be a place where the silence speaks volumes.
