Emma Durand is a teaching artist, musician and performer based in New England. She has been educated and trained in New York, and graduated from Manhattanville University with a BFA in Musical Theatre. She specializes in this genre, as well as classical opera, jazz and rock. Her vocal curriculum prioritizes a student's independent goals and future aspirations, and emphasizes the importance of physical health and self-care in voice performance. Coming from the musical theatre world, she teaches healthy practices for vocal endurance and longevity. Her roots being in New Hampshire, she is a NHMEA Classical and Jazz All-State alum, and is capable of teaching the materials and theory required for voice.
