Emma Donnelly is a New England-based flautist and piccolo player with over 25 years of playing experience. She is an active performer throughout New Hampshire and Massachusetts, currently playing in several pit orchestras. Emma enjoys the unique challenges of live theater and ensemble work, valuing the collaboration and attentive listening these settings require—qualities she plans to bring into her teaching. As an instructor, Emma will focus on developing strong musicianship while helping students build confidence in their playing. She emphasizes solid fundamentals, musical expression, and creating a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to grow and enjoy making music.
Outside of music, Emma enjoys reading, spending time with her four crazy Persian cats, and planning future travels abroad.
