Christopher Stimson

Hello! Thank you for taking an interest in learning bass! My name is Chris Stimson, and I have been a bassist since 2016, starting on electric and learning upright in 2018. I earned my Master of Music (Music Education) from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA and my Bachelor of Music (Music Composition) from Keene State College. As a bassist (and guitarist), I have experience performing several styles of music including jazz, rock, orchestral, and pit orchestras for musical theatre. I currently teach elementary General Music in Andover, MA during the daytime, and have experience teaching string lessons and orchestras in Bedford, Ipswich, and Burlington (all MA). If you are looking to progress your bass playing, either on upright and/or electric bass, I would love to assist you on this journey!
