Dan Lorenz is a guitarist and educator based in the New Hampshire seacoast area. A graduate from the University of New Hampshire, he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and K-12 Music Teaching Certification in 2019. Dan currently teaches at Timberlane Regional High School, directing the Guitar Orchestra and Modern Band ensembles in addition to his course schedule, and serves as the Guitar Ensemble Manager for the NHMEA All State Festival.
Dan performs regularly with jazz ensembles, wedding bands, pit orchestras, and has enjoyed accompanying choirs and playing in large ensembles including the Portsmouth Symphony Orchestra, UNH Wind Symphony and the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artist ensembles. With over a decade of experience teaching children and adults, he truly enjoys guiding beginners and experienced musicians alike towards their goals. Whether it’s folk, pop, jazz, funk, rock, classical, or anything in between, Dan would love to be a part of your musical journey!
