SUBMISSION TYPES
Archival
Research papers. Submissions of novel work will be accepted as papers of at least 4 up to 10 pages (references excluded). Accepted papers will be published online as proceedings included in the ACL Anthology.
Extended abstracts. The authors can submit unpublished research as an extended abstract (up to 2 pages, references included). Accepted abstracts will be published in the workshop proceedings.
Non-archival
Research Communications. We include a parallel submission policy for papers accepted in other venues in 2024 and 2025. Research communications (up to 2 pages, references included) will not be included in the proceedings but serve to promote the dissemination of research aligned with the workshop's scope.
[NEW] Potluck Communications. GITT will offer space for Potluck Presentations during the poster sessions. Potluck Presentations provide a space for anyone to discuss bold new ideas for collaboration, brainstorm about ongoing work, and explore future research directions. Particular attention will be given to work by early career researchers. The aim is to provide a venue to receive expert feedback on ongoing work and to strengthen collaboration in the field. Submissions will be accepted in the form of short abstracts up to 500 words (references included). This work will not be included in the workshop proceedings.
All accepted contributions will be assigned either an oral or poster presentation slot.
