These terms are a contract between you and Sree Priya, a sole proprietor trading as Tike AI Ventures in India ("we", "us", "our"), for your use of the Propel Resume Screener app ("the app"). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these terms. If you use the app for a company or agency, you agree to them on its behalf and confirm that you are authorised to do so. "You" then means both you and that company.
Two other documents form part of these terms: our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data, and our Data Processing Addendum (the "DPA"), which covers the candidates' data you upload.
Propel Resume Screener helps recruiters screen resumes. You add a job description, the app suggests criteria using AI, and you edit them. You then upload resumes, the app scores each resume against your criteria using AI, ranks the resumes, and lets you download the results.
The app is a decision-support tool. It does not make hiring decisions, and scores are estimates (see section 9).
We may change, add or remove features over time. If we remove a feature you paid for specifically, we will tell you in advance where we reasonably can.
You must be at least 18 and use the app for recruiting in the course of your work or business.
You may not use the app where doing so is against the law that applies to you.
You sign in with Google or Apple. Keep the details you give us accurate and up to date.
An account is for one person. Do not share it.
You are responsible for what happens in your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.
Each recruiter gets one free trial. It includes one job profile, with limits on criteria and resumes that are shown in the app. Scoring on the trial is free, and downloads are not included.
We may change or end the trial offer at any time. Changes do not affect a trial you have already started.
You buy plans and credits through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Their terms govern payment, billing and refunds. We cannot issue refunds ourselves. Ask Apple or Google.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings before the renewal date. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
Prices are shown in the app before you buy. The store will tell you about any price change for a subscription before it applies.
Scoring a resume uses credits, at the rate shown in the app (currently one credit for every two pages of a resume, rounded up).
Credits are set aside when scoring starts. You are only charged for resumes that are actually scored, never for resumes the app fails to score.
Plans include a monthly allowance of credits. Unused plan credits expire at the end of the month they are granted for and do not carry over. Plan credits are used before credits from credit packs.
Credits from credit packs do not expire while your account exists.
Credits have no cash value. They cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged, and they are refunded only where Apple's or Google's refund policies allow.
Unused credits, and any remaining subscription benefits, are lost when you delete your account. They cannot be restored if you sign up again.
You keep ownership of the job descriptions, resumes and other material you upload ("your content").
You give us permission to store, copy, process and transmit your content only as needed to provide the app to you. This includes sending it to our AI providers to suggest criteria and to score resumes, as described in the Privacy Policy.
We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it.
For the personal data of candidates and others in your content, you are the controller and we are your processor. The DPA applies automatically and forms part of these terms.
Keep your own copies of anything important. Deleted content cannot be recovered.
You are responsible for how you collect and use candidates' data and for your hiring decisions. In particular, you must:
upload only resumes you have the right to use for recruiting, with a legal basis under the data protection laws that apply to you;
tell candidates, where the law requires it, that you use AI-assisted screening, what it does, and that a person makes the decision;
have a person review the results and make every hiring decision. Do not treat a score or a ranking as the decision;
not use criteria based on age, sex, gender, race, ethnicity, caste, religion, disability, health, pregnancy, marital or family status, sexual orientation, nationality or any other characteristic protected by law, or on stand-ins for them, unless the law requires or allows it for the role (for example, the legal right to work);
comply with the employment, anti-discrimination, data protection and AI laws that apply to you, including any duties to give notices, commission bias audits or keep records, such as New York City's Local Law 144. These duties fall on you as the employer or agency;
answer candidates' requests about their data, and delete resumes when you no longer need them. The app deletes only the original uploaded files automatically, 365 days after upload. It does not delete resume text, criteria or scores.
You must not:
use the app for anything other than recruiting for roles that you, or your clients if you are a recruitment agency, are filling. In particular, do not use it to evaluate existing employees for promotion, pay, termination or performance, to monitor workers, or to make decisions about credit, housing, insurance or education;
upload content you have no right to use, unlawful content or malicious code, or text designed to manipulate the AI, such as hidden instructions in a resume;
reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the app, or get around its limits or credit metering;
resell or sublicense access to the app. Screening resumes for your own clients as a recruitment agency is allowed;
use the app or its results to build a competing product.
Criteria suggestions, scores and rankings are produced by AI models and calculations. They can be wrong or incomplete, and they can reflect biases in the models or in the documents they read. Review them before you rely on them.
Very long documents are shortened before scoring, and scanned resumes without a text layer cannot be read.
Results are not legal, HR or professional advice.
The app relies on services from other companies, including Apple and Google (sign-in and app stores), RevenueCat (purchases), TypeSafe and Anthropic (AI models) and Google Cloud (hosting). Their own terms apply to your use of their services, and their outages can affect the app. We are not responsible for services we do not control.
The app, its software, design and brand belong to us or our licensors.
We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable licence to use the app for your recruiting work under these terms.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them freely without owing you anything.
You can stop using the app at any time and delete your account in Settings. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes.
We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, if your use creates legal or security risk for us or others, or if the law requires it. Where reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem.
If we decide to stop offering the app, we will give at least 30 days' notice so you can download your results.
Sections 6, 7, 9 and 14 to 18 continue to apply after your account ends.
We work to keep the app running, but we do not promise it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may take it offline for maintenance.
To the extent the law allows, the app and its results are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including warranties of accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive losses, or for loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or hiring outcomes.
Our total liability to you for all claims relating to the app or these terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid for Propel Resume Screener, through the App Store or Google Play, in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, and (b) USD 100.
These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.
You will defend and compensate us for claims by third parties, including candidates and regulators, and the related losses and reasonable legal costs, to the extent they arise from your content, your hiring decisions, or your breach of these terms or of the law.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
If you have a dispute with us, email us first. We will try to resolve it with you within 30 days.
If we cannot, the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka, India have exclusive jurisdiction. This does not take away any right you have under the consumer protection law of your country to bring a claim where you live.
These terms, the Privacy Policy and the DPA are the whole agreement between you and us about the app.
You may not transfer your rights under these terms without our consent. We may transfer ours to a company we set up to run the business, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business.
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we have not given it up.
We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
We send notices to the email address on your account. Send notices to us at trust@tikeai.ventures.
These terms are written in English. If they are translated, the English version prevails.
We may update these terms and will change the effective date at the top when we do. For material changes, we will tell you in the app or by email at least 15 days before they take effect. If you continue to use the app after that, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and delete your account.
If you downloaded the app from the Apple App Store, these additional terms apply:
These terms are between you and us (Sree Priya, trading as Tike AI Ventures) only, not Apple. We, not Apple, are solely responsible for the app and its content.
Your licence to use the app is limited to Apple-branded products that you own or control, as allowed by the Usage Rules in Apple's Media Services Terms and Conditions. The app may also be used by other accounts linked to the purchaser through Family Sharing or volume purchasing.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price of the app, if any. To the extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app. Any other claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs or expenses caused by a failure to meet a warranty are our responsibility, to the extent they are not disclaimed in these terms.
We, not Apple, are responsible for handling any claims by you or a third party relating to the app or your use of it, including product liability claims, claims that the app does not meet a legal or regulatory requirement, and claims under consumer protection, privacy or similar laws.
If a third party claims that the app or your use of it infringes their intellectual property rights, we, not Apple, are responsible for investigating, defending, settling and discharging the claim.
You confirm that you are not located in a country that is subject to a US Government embargo or that the US Government has designated as a "terrorist supporting" country, and that you are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.

You must comply with any third-party terms that apply when you use the app, such as your mobile data provider's terms.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms. Once you accept them, Apple has the right to enforce them against you as a third-party beneficiary.
If you downloaded the app from Google Play, your purchases are also subject to the Google Play Terms of Service.
