A Welcome Message from Mrs. Kengla

My name is Audrey Kengla and I am the speech-language pathologist for the Charleston School District (grades K-12). As a SLP, I am involved in the screening, evaluation, and/or treatment of a variety of speech and language based disorders, including (but not limited to) articulation, phonological, language, voice, reading, and fluency disorders. I am passionate about helping children improve their communication skills and will be supporting speech and language needs through a wide-variety of service delivery options during the 2020-21 school year, such as on-site, teleservice, or alternative methods (as decided by each child's Individualized Education Planning (IEP) committee). If you know your child will be receiving speech-language therapy this year, I encourage you to complete the short survey (which can be found on the "Forms" tab) to assist me in planning for the support of your child's needs for this upcoming school year. I look forward to working with the students and staff of Charleston Public Schools this year!
