The Arkansas Advanced Energy Association and Foundation is excited to launch Power Players, a new leadership and scholarship program for Arkansas high school students. Power Players is open to rising high school juniors and rising seniors from any county in the state. No prior energy or technical experience is required; just curiosity, motivation, and a desire to learn how energy shapes our communities and economy. Energy is at the heart of daily life in Arkansas, powering our homes, schools, businesses, and communities. Through Power Players, students will gain real-world exposure to energy-related topics, attend approved industry or community events, and build leadership and communication skills. Participants are eligible for a total of $2,500 in scholarship awards, including:
• $1,000 Grand Power Player Award
• $600 Energy Innovation Spotlight Award

Academic advisors and counselors at your college or technical school use your ACCUPLACER test results to help place you in classes that match your skill level. ACCUPLACER tests help identify your knowledge, strengths, and needs in math, reading, and writing. Along with information about your academic background, goals, and interests, your ACCUPLACER results help you choose courses that match your skill level and give you the best opportunities for success. All ACCUPLACER tests use a multiple-choice format. There’s no time limit on the tests, so you can focus on doing your best to demonstrate your skills.
