Clicking onto this link below, you will find the attributes and nomination forms for the TCS Crystal Apple Award. This award will be given out quarterly to the certified and classified staff member who exemplifies the key qualities, traits and characteristics as indicated on the attached documents. The selected individuals for the quarterly award will be honored and recognized at the October, January, March and May Board of Education meetings.
Certified Staff Eligibility
Nominees must be certified, full-time teachers in grades Pre-Kindergarten through 12, who are employed in Tiffin City Schools. Nominees must have a minimum of five (5) full years of classroom teaching experience and have an overall rating of Skilled or higher on their last full evaluation.
Classified Staff Eligibility
Nominees must be full-time support staff within Tiffin City Schools. Nominees must have a minimum of five (5) full years of service within the District and have an overall positive rating on their last full evaluation.

This is given out every quarter to two individuals. A certified staff member is a (teacher) and a classified staff member is ( support staff including but not limited to; custodian, maintenance, secretary, office clerk, aid, bus driver, food services, groundskeeper, mechanic, IT technician.
