Dr. Cari Kennedy is the Deputy Director for TIE. Dr. Kennedy worked as a classroom teacher in the Rapid City School District in South Dakota and the Henderson County School District in North Carolina. Additionally, Dr. Kennedy was an Instructional Technology Facilitator for Secondary Educators in North Carolina. Dr. Kennedy has a Masters in Educational Media with a focus on Instructional Technology from Appalachian State University and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a focus on Educational Technology from the University of the Cumberlands. She has a passion for helping teachers bring new and innovative practices into the classroom and is an advocate for competency based learning.
