6th Grade Math

Curriculum: We will be accessing a variety of curriculum this year. Here are some of the types: Core focus on math, maneuvering in the middle, IXL, Prodigy, and Xtra math. This will allow a variety of activities including, but not limited to, task based activities, cooperative math, fact repetition, games, problem solving, and challenges for all skill levels. 

Classroom Expectations: I expect students to come to class ready to learn with a growth mindset attitude. Students only need to bring a pencil to my class, I will have math journals stored by period and all the paperwork. I expect students to finish the tasks they start and to make up work that they miss. Most times this can be done during CAV time, other times it will need to be completed at home. Students will follow the school and classroom rules, striving to be responsible, respectful, and resilient.
