Quarter 2

Quarter 2 is all about writing an argumentative essay on a current topic that has two perspectives. 

The argumentative essay goes beyond an 5 paragraph essay, and it includes a sixth paragraph where the writer rebuke one argument from the opposite perspective of their stance. 

This is called the counterclaim. 

In Quarter 2, Students will have Lesson 4, 5, & 6 Quizzes for Vocabulary 

Also will have a big Vocabulary Test on Lessons 4, 5, & 6.
